Courage

If someone ask me how I would describe love, that is the word I would certainly use: courage.

Courage to embrace your own shadow and to recognise it while you look at your partner.

Courage to tame your own demons and not let them dance with those of your partner.

Courage to hold hands in a world who is promoting division.

Courage to dream together despite the majority: “the realistic ones”.

Courage to recognise yourself in the so called defects you see in your partner.

Courage to grow up and to understand that you are not the center of the world and the sun does not revolve around you.

Courage to feel compassion for your partner whose soul is as poisoned as yours.

Courage to be responsible enough for your own happiness without giving that heavy load to your partner.

Courage to heal and be light for your partner when he/she is still in the darkness.

Courage to recognise your fears and ask for help when needed.

Courage to be who you really are.
